Best eBook reading device I ever had

I am the buyer for consumer electronics. At CES 2010 ( Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas ) I checked around 20 types of new models eBook readers and found Boox to be the best among them. I passed 2-3 days testing each model later and the Boox was the only one eBook reader difficult to find any problems. I bought a sample from Onyx International directly, it costed me around $440 inclusive shipping to US by DHL. The reader set includes everything what they stated. It looks expensive and well done. The round main button is comfortable and intuitively clear how to operate. All the screen surface is used for text displaying. No area is lost! The screen is really white like paper. The software supports almost everything. All eBooks are shown with covers. It is not so important but many ereaders can not do it! No lines or words are lost when the lines are interrupted or pages are changed. No unpleasant light reflection in comparison with other ereaders having touch screen. Easy ebook search folder structure. I read in English and in Russian and did not find any eBook which it could not open till now. The only feature I could not verify is WiFi connection as my MAC wireless network is not supported by Boox, but as far as I tried, the connectivity is O'K with public WiFi, though I do not think this feature is so necessary. Handwriting/annotation feature is O'K. Text-to-speech function is not operative yet, though they promise to upgrade it by the new software version in March. The battery really works so long that I even do not remember when charged it last time. Though if WiFi is on, it can work only for one week. So if you do not use it, better remember to switch it off. The set does not include ear phones... For me it is not important as I have iPod to listen to the music in the gym. I have it for 2 months now and the reader never breezed and stopped to respond. Have just reinstalled new software version, it was rather plain, simply loaded it to SD card ( the device has built-in flash memory of 512 MB and SD card is not included into the set, though it is really necessary to upgrade software ) and inserted it into reader. Great device! Best of 6" e-ink family. It is more expensive then plain ones, but it is worth its money.

The reader handles the files great. The button design is comfortable. Unfortunately, I got a lemon (Double imaging)one. The seller responsed prompt and processed full refound with one way shipping. This is a trustee seller.
